Henderson Community Mourns the Loss of Fred Ricketson

Henderson, KY – Fred Ricketson, age 51, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. Born on August 23, 1974, in Henderson, he was the cherished son of Thomas and the late Mina Ricketson.

Fred graduated from high school in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, in 1993 and went on to build a career in construction, where he was respected for his skill, dedication, and work ethic. Those who knew him remember him as a hardworking, dependable, and kind-hearted individual who valued his family, friends, and community.

Fred is survived by his father, Thomas Ricketson, along with other family members and friends who will miss his presence deeply. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mina Ricketson.
