In Loving Memory of Jerry Payne

In Loving Memory of Jerry Payne

The Upper Valley Pool Leagues is heartbroken to share the sudden passing of our brother, Jerry Payne, this past weekend. His loss is shocking and deeply saddening, leaving a void in our community that cannot be filled.

Jerry was more than just a fellow player—he was a friend, a mentor, and a brother to all who had the privilege of knowing him. His love for the game, his sense of humor, and his kind spirit made him a cherished presence at every gathering. Whether he was competing at the table, encouraging new players, or simply enjoying the company of friends, Jerry embodied the spirit of camaraderie that defines our league.

Above all, Jerry was a devoted father whose children were the center of his world. He spoke often of his love for them, and his pride in their accomplishments was evident to anyone who knew him. As we mourn his passing, our hearts and prayers are with his family, especially his children, during this unimaginably difficult time.

In times of grief, we find comfort in remembering the joy Jerry brought to our lives. His laughter, his stories, and his passion for life will live on in the memories we share. Though gone too soon, his presence will forever be felt among us.

Rest in peace, Jerry. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Your spirit remains in our hearts, and your legacy lives on in the love of your family and the friendships you built within our community.
