Two Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in North County St. Louis

St. Louis County Police responded to a serious traffic accident in North County late Tuesday evening, September 16, 2025. At approximately 9:00 p.m., officers from the Jennings Precinct were dispatched to the intersection of Lewis & Clark Boulevard and St. Cyr Road following reports of a multi-vehicle collision.

A preliminary investigation revealed that a silver Mercedes-Benz, traveling northbound on Lewis & Clark, collided with a silver Ford Mustang attempting to turn from southbound Lewis & Clark onto St. Cyr Road. The force of the crash caused significant vehicle damage and left both drivers injured.

An adult male passenger in the Ford Mustang sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment. The driver of the Mercedes-Benz was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities have not released their names, citing privacy and ongoing medical evaluations.

St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons and Accident Reconstruction detectives are currently handling the investigation. Officials are reviewing the scene, witness statements, and any available surveillance footage to determine the exact cause of the collision.

Residents and commuters in the area are advised to exercise caution while traveling through the intersection, as investigators continue to reconstruct the accident. The department emphasized the importance of adhering to traffic signals and speed limits to prevent similar incidents.
