Charlotte, NC – Tragedy struck a Charlotte neighborhood on September 17, 2025, when a 4-year-old boy was fatally shot during a robbery at his family’s townhome on Cigar Court. The young boy had been living with his grandmother after his mother passed away earlier this year.

According to authorities, three men—Jordon Davis, 23, Marquise Geurrier, 24, and Angelo Hudson, 20—were arrested the following day and charged with murder. The incident occurred around 6 a.m. when the suspects attempted to steal a Dodge Charger from the property. Security footage captured the theft, prompting the homeowner to check outside.

The suspects allegedly fired shots at the home, missing the adult but tragically striking the child while he slept. Despite their attempt to intimidate the homeowner, the suspects successfully stole the vehicle and fled the scene. Another vehicle with additional suspects reportedly followed the stolen car.

Police later apprehended Davis, Geurrier, and Hudson, charging them with murder in connection to the child’s death. Authorities have not yet disclosed the full evidence linking the suspects to the crime.
