With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Melissa Renee Padgett, age 23, of Collinsville, Illinois. Melissa tragically left this world on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Downtown St. Louis.
Melissa was a bright light in the lives of her family and friends. Her smile, warmth, and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. At only 23 years old, she had so much life ahead of her, and her absence leaves a deep and painful void in the hearts of those who loved her most.
As her family and friends grieve this unimaginable loss, they ask for thoughts, prayers, and compassion during this difficult time. Melissa will be remembered not only for the life she lived but for the love and joy she brought to others.
