2 Dead, 2 Others Wounded in Antioch Shooting; Teen in Critical Condition

ANTIOCH, Calif. — A late-night shooting in Antioch has left two people dead and two others wounded, including a 15-year-old boy who remains in critical condition, according to the Antioch Police Department.

The violence unfolded on Thursday, September 18, 2025, when officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire near D Street and West 19th Street around 10:21 p.m. Upon arrival, police found four victims suffering from gunshot wounds.

Despite life-saving measures at the scene, two victims were pronounced dead. Their identities have not yet been released pending notification of family members.

The other two victims were transported to area hospitals. Police confirmed that a 36-year-old man is in stable condition, while a 15-year-old boy remains in critical condition as doctors fight to save his life.

Authorities say the shooting appears to have occurred outdoors, but investigators are still working to determine the motive and whether it may have been targeted.
