Police Searching for Missing 17-Year-Old With Cognitive Disability in North County
Authorities and community members are searching for a 17-year-old boy with a cognitive disability who was reported missing in the North County/Bel-Ridge area.
According to neighbors, the teen wandered away from home sometime Sunday night and has not been seen since. His mother reported him missing and granted permission for the community to share information in hopes of quickly locating him.
The teen’s name has not yet been released publicly. Neighbors and friends describe the family as deeply concerned and anxious for his safe return.
Local residents are being asked to remain alert. If anyone sees a young man wandering in the Bel-Ridge or surrounding North County area who may appear disoriented, they are urged to immediately contact the Bel-Ridge Police Department or call 911.
