Henrico Woman Who Passed Away in Single-Vehicle Crash on Kain Road Has Been Identified as Jasmine Senae Woody

Henrico, VA — September 17, 2025 — A 26-year-old Henrico woman, identified as Jasmine Senae Woody, died in a single-vehicle crash on Kain Road near Willane Road on Tuesday, September 16.

According to the Henrico Police, the crash occurred around 11:55 a.m. when Woody was driving a Hyundai Elantra westbound on Kain Road. Preliminary investigations indicate that the vehicle ran off the road, striking a tree and a concrete bridge pillar before landing in a creek bed. Speed is believed to be a contributing factor.

Woody was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency responders.

The Henrico Police Crash Team is leading the investigation. Portions of Kain Road were closed for several hours to allow for scene processing and vehicle recovery.
