Galloway Township Man Arrested in Stockton University Road-Rage Attack
Authorities in Galloway Township have arrested 46-year-old Ernest W. Heinz in connection with a violent road-rage assault that occurred near Stockton University. Police confirmed that Heinz was taken into custody without incident after investigators identified him as the suspect in the attack.
The victim, Maritza Arias-Galva, a local resident, was reportedly assaulted during a confrontation that escalated following a traffic dispute. According to investigators, the incident took place in the area surrounding the university, where Heinz allegedly targeted Arias-Galva after a heated exchange. The details of her injuries have not been released, but officials confirmed she received medical attention.
Detectives were able to link Heinz to the crime through witness statements and evidence gathered at the scene. Following the arrest, he was transported to the Atlantic County Justice Facility, where he now faces multiple charges related to the assault.
