Kentucky Man Charged with Murder After Chilling ‘To-Do’ List Found
McCreary County, KY – Authorities have charged Daniel Kearney with murder after investigators uncovered the body of his partner, 36-year-old Damian Poole, inside a camper earlier this week.
Poole had been reported missing by his mother on September 9, prompting a search that led Kentucky State Police to the residence. Inside, troopers made the grim discovery—Poole’s body lying on the floor, loosely covered with sheets and towels.
During the investigation, officers found a disturbing handwritten checklist belonging to Kearney. The list allegedly outlined steps to conceal the crime, including instructions to clean the residence, remove evidence, and dispose of the body. The chilling discovery has been described by authorities as critical evidence in the case.
Adding to the tragedy, investigators also found two dead dogs inside the camper, further intensifying the severity of the charges.
Kearney is now facing four counts: murder, abuse of a corpse, and two counts of cruelty to animals. He is currently being held at the Knox County Detention Center as the investigation continues.
Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding motive but emphasized that the case remains active, with more updates expected as evidence is processed.
