Tyler Robinson’s Ominous Texts May Reveal Motive in Charlie Kirk Assassination
September 15, 2025 – New details are emerging in the shocking assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, with investigators now reviewing chilling text messages allegedly sent by suspect Tyler Robinson shortly before the fatal shooting.
FBI Director Kash Patel revealed on Fox News’ Hannity Monday night that Robinson, 22, expressed a clear intent to kill Kirk in a message exchange. “What was found, in terms of information, a text message exchange where the suspect specifically stated that he had the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and he was going to do that,” Patel explained.
When questioned about his reasoning, Robinson reportedly responded, “Some hatred cannot be negotiated with.” Authorities believe the message could point to ideological or personal motivations behind the deadly act.
Kirk, 31, founder of Turning Point USA, was gunned down on September 10 while speaking to a large crowd at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. Officials said Robinson fired from a rooftop hundreds of yards away, striking Kirk fatally in front of stunned attendees.
The FBI is also probing whether Robinson acted alone or had assistance. Patel confirmed investigators are examining the possibility of an “extended network” that may have supported or encouraged the suspect’s actions.
The assassination has sent shockwaves across the political spectrum, drawing condemnation from leaders nationwide. As the investigation unfolds, Robinson remains in federal custody, facing multiple charges including first-degree murder and terrorism-related offenses.
