Community Mourns Sudden Passing of Darren Dailey

Alliston – The community is mourning the unexpected loss of Darren Dailey, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 49.

Darren was the beloved son of Arthur and Margaret Dailey and a cherished brother to Traci Dailey, Sheri Rutledge, and Scott Taylor. He was also a devoted nephew to John Dailey. Those who knew him will fondly remember Darren for his warmth, kindness, and the strong bonds he shared with family, friends, and colleagues alike.

In addition to his close family, Darren touched the lives of BJ, Carley, his nieces and nephews, and countless friends and co-workers who admired his generosity and spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of care, laughter, and heartfelt connections that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A Celebration of Darren’s Life will take place at Drury Funeral Centre, 519 Victoria St. E., Alliston, on Saturday, September 27, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., providing an opportunity for family, friends, and the community to gather, share memories, and honor his life.

In keeping with Darren’s memory, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.

Darren Dailey will be remembered as a devoted family man, a loyal friend, and a kind-hearted individual whose presence brought light to those around him. His loss is deeply felt, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
