Tampa Community Mourns the Loss of Kaitlin Tyne Miles

Tampa, FL – Kaitlin Tyne Miles, age 33, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025. Born on August 23, 1992, in Union Town, Pennsylvania, Kaitlin was the cherished daughter of Mark Alan Miles and Marta J. McCombs. She spent her formative years in Frederick Town, PA, attending grammar school, and graduated from high school in Harmony, PA, in 2010.

Kaitlin pursued higher education at Robert Morris University, studying forensics, before relocating to Tampa, Florida, where she built a successful career in management with Hilton Hotels. Her dedication, professionalism, and kind nature made her a respected and valued member of the Hilton family.

Outside of work, Kaitlin loved traveling, hiking, and spending time at the beach. She was a devoted pet parent to her dog, Zoe, who frequently accompanied her on adventures and vacations. Kaitlin treasured time with her family, including her parents, her grandmother Joann McCluskey, and her sisters Kenzie Craig and Kailee Craig, as well as her extended family and friends.

Kaitlin was preceded in death by her sister, Kayla Miles, her cousins Joseph Miles and Dack Garrison, and her grandparents Thomas Fred McCluskey and Robert and Joann McCombs.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. from Bowen Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Old Union Cemetery. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Kaitlin will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with all who knew her.
