Woman Killed in Derrynane Township Crash Has Been Identified, Infant Survives

Authorities have confirmed the death of 23-year-old Mackenzie Glaser of Belle Plaine following a two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning, September 11, 2025.

The crash occurred just before 7:15 a.m. at the intersection of 211th Avenue and 320th Street in Derrynane Township. According to investigators, Glaser was traveling north in her 2013 Chevrolet Malibu with her 1-year-old daughter when she failed to stop at a sign and entered the intersection. Her vehicle collided with an eastbound 2003 Chevrolet Express van with trailer, driven by 49-year-old Christopher Call of Carver.

Glaser was killed on impact. Her car was pushed into the north ditch. Miraculously, her daughter survived and was transported to a local hospital for observation.

Call and his two passengers, 18-year-old Justus Call and a 14-year-old boy, were uninjured.

The Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota State Patrol, Montgomery Police, and area fire and EMS crews responded. The cause of the tragic crash remains under investigation.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office Searching for Missing Teen

LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn. — Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenager.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office says 16-year-old Hunter Willis ran away and was last seen on Tuesday, September 9. He was reportedly wearing a dark-colored hoodie and blue jeans with holes at the time.

Deputies say Hunter’s family, friends, and law enforcement are deeply concerned for his safety and well-being.

Officials caution that if anyone spots Hunter, they should not approach or pick him up. Instead, contact law enforcement immediately.

2 Killed in Helicopter Crash Near Penn’s Peak in Carbon County

PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Two people were killed Thursday afternoon when a helicopter crashed in a wooded area near the Penn’s Peak concert venue on Maury Road in Carbon County.

The crash occurred around 3:00 p.m., drawing a major response from local police, firefighters, and EMS crews. The aircraft went down in dense woods not far from the concert hall, according to initial dispatch reports.

The Carbon County Coroner’s Office confirmed that both individuals aboard the helicopter were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released, pending notification of family members.

No injuries were reported on the ground.

FLORISSANT, Mo. — Authorities have issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for 68-year-old Ellery Jones, who was reported missing early Thursday morning.

Mr. Jones was last seen around 4:30 a.m. on September 11 in the 6500 block of Epphingham Lane in Florissant. He is described as 5’9” tall, weighing approximately 215 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue Polo-style shirt and black pants.

Officials say Mr. Jones suffers from dementia and other medical conditions. He left his home without his necessary medications, raising urgent concerns for his safety.

Georgia Woman Charged with Manslaughter After DeKalb County Fentanyl Death

DEKALB COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A Georgia woman is facing multiple charges after authorities say she supplied fentanyl to a DeKalb County woman who later died.

According to court documents, Vanessa Taylor Whitmoyer was arrested Tuesday and charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of Kimberly Ann Little. Investigators say Whitmoyer provided Little with fentanyl, which directly led to her death on September 9.

In addition to manslaughter, Whitmoyer faces several other charges, including two counts of possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, among others.

Her court appearance has not yet been scheduled.

The charges come under HB10, an Alabama law signed in 2024, which allows prosecutors to pursue manslaughter charges against anyone who knowingly distributes fentanyl—or a fentanyl-laced substance—that results in another person’s death.

Fentanyl-related cases have been on the rise nationwide, with law enforcement and health officials calling the synthetic opioid a major driver of overdose deaths.

Authorities have not released further details about Whitmoyer’s arrest or whether additional suspects may be involved. The case remains under investigation.

Woman Found Dead at Sanford Arms Apartments, Homicide Investigation Underway

MACON, Ga. (WGXA) — Authorities are investigating after a woman was found dead inside a Macon apartment Thursday morning.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office identified the victim as 42-year-old Teasha Ariele Colbert, of Macon. Coroner Leon Jones pronounced her deceased at the scene.

Deputies responded around 8 a.m. to the Sanford Arms Apartments, near Sanford Place and Sanford Avenue, after receiving a call related to a missing person. Inside, they discovered Colbert’s body.

Investigators with the Criminal Investigation Division are treating the case as a homicide. Details on how Colbert died have not been released.

Crime scene tape surrounded the complex as deputies collected evidence Thursday. Authorities have not announced any suspects or persons of interest.
